We woke up at 4am due to our nap the night before, struggled to sleep for a few hours then got up for a croissant, bagel and some terrible coffee for breakfast. After we hauled our suitcases up around 3 flights of stairs we went straight to sleep and woke up pretty early. We set off straight for the Eiffel Tower. It was beautiful! It was also a little intimidating because after all the attacks there were soldiers with guns just standing everywhere, about three different check points to get in and then you were finally allowed in. Giulia picked us up from the airport, fed us some wine and took us to her families beautiful Italian restaurant for dinner at 5am our time, safe to say jet lag is a real thing and mozzarella in Australia is a lie.
