Happy Birthday Dad! Lots of love!

The day started as usual. We got up, ate breakfast and got ready to travel on down to Wilson's Promontory National Park. We were 30 minutes late to check out, but no one said anything so we did not care about it. We refueled and started the trip down to the park. After approx. 1.5 hours in the car, we stopped to fix the curtains in the back of the car that had slid halfway over so Ray could not see behind us. When he was putting the seat belt back on it all fell off the seat. It has not been properly fastend at all, only jamed together by some idiot. We have been traveling around for 3 weeks without the safety belt working properly. Had something happened to us Ray had flown out of the windshield at the car because of this. We had not noticed any of this before this happened and thought everything was ok with the car. This is a safty issue and Ray called the company again and was very angry. The man we talked to were quite concerned when we mentioned that we considered reporting them to the police because of this, so he apologized and apologized. well there's not much we can do with an apology if anything had happened. We found a mechanic in Koo Wee Rup that fixed it for us for free so we could keep on driving. We drove all the way to Wilsons PNP before we stopped at a viewing point of the park. We could see the beaches and ocean. It's absolutely gorgeous here. We are certainly going to the beach tomorrow. We stopped by a beach called Squeaky Beach where the sand made a weird sound when you walked on it. We went down and felt the water but soon ran out of it. it was freezing. We continued a little while until we arrived at the campsite. it's so beautiful here. This is definitely my favorite place in Victoria. Almost as nice as Port Douglas in Queensland. We have done about the bed into our livingroom and are going to use the 1 1/2 man's bed from now on. This way we get more space in the car. I'm pretty pissed of at my camera that have decided to not work anymore. I put in new batteries, but it will still not turn on. What a bargain! Have used part of the day to go through my bags to find the warranty for the camera so I can get a new one, but I can't find it anywhere. Waste of money .. Well we've just eaten dinner so I guess we soon are going to bed. I will at least. Ray will probably sit up a bit to work with the movie tonight. We'll see ...

oooh .. Ray just managed to knock his head up on the bed and then at the oven which gave him a small cut in the head. Nothing serious, but for safety's sake I'll wake him up tonight. It's so starlit out here tonight. Incredibly beautiful. Forgot to write that I did laundry today. first in 3 weeks. I'm glad I've had enough underwear .. good night!
