Back home!!!

My last week in South Africa was fantastic! I made my way to Cape Town from Port Elizabeth aboard the Baz Bus!!

The view of Cape Town with Table Mountain as it backdrop is unbelievable! table Mountain is magestic even on a bad day!! The weather in Cape Town is included in every conversation and the city is known to experience all four seasons in one day!! I can certainly vouch for this and was unsure what to wear most days (here i was helped out by the fact I didnt have to much to choose from!!)

I had a great time in Cape Town and it became my favourite place in South Africa! Abseiling from Table Mountain, touring Robben Island, a close encounter with a baboon and South African cuisine all part and parcel of my trip!!

I love the music, culture and history of South Africa. I think SA gets a lot of undeserved bad press and until you visit and see for yourself you will never truely know the real South Africa! A wonderful country, wonderful people-hard working and honest, wonderful entertainment, great music and fantastic food! I would certainly head back to South Africa.

World Cup 2010 will be a huge success in SA, you can feel the buzz everywhere you go even now!

I arrived home at the beginning of the week and managed to fall asleep at Heathrow! I sudsequently missed my flight to Manchester!! Oops! Fortunately I went to see a very friendky, kind and helpful lady who transfered my ticket to the next flight..

Its been great being home, although its already feeling like Ive never been away!! So where to next?????
