We arrived in hue yesterday after probally one of the worst journeys, it was the shortest however just 4 hours but we we're on a jam packed bus with no air con. It was so full they even put little buffets down the isle which people had to sit on for the whole journey. Then when we eventually arrived at the hotel we had found online they tried to rip us off saying it was £20 a night after it said £7 online. The receptionist and Jordan then proceeded to argue for about 20 minutes and she lied again saying that all the internet was wrong and if we tried to book online then it wouldn't work and that it wasn't £7 a night. So we did exactly that- say in reception on our phones and booked 3 nights for £20 in a superior room. It's fair to say she was pretty pissed off when we went to the desk to confirm our booking. When we then got to our room she had put us in with two single beds, jord went down to complain further and in the end we got put in an excecutive suite as they had no other superior rooms left and probally to get rid of us. By that time we unpacked went for tea and watched a film in bed. Everywhere we walk we get stared at or pictures taken of us because we are white, it makes me feel quite uncomfortable and i'm not sure I like it so much here. We also booked a tour for today of the city for today so I will update on that tommorow after we have done it. Let's see if visiting more of the city can change my opinion on it so far which isn't very high
