We got here yesterday after a bus journey which took forever as it was through the night and was hard to sleep. We checked into a guesthouse and explored the old town to plan what we wanted to do. This morning we moved to a different guesthouse just out of the old town nearer the beach. The room we have is really nice and the family who run it are so kind and lovely, it feels nice to be back somewhere where the people are nice. We also ran into a couple who Jordan knows from Halifax- he used to work with her at the milestone, what a coincidence, so we are going out for tea with themater today. As I expected from
the photos the town is beautiful and I love it, my favorite place so far. It reminds me of the old town of Altea in Spain without the cobbles or the stairs! (and most people reading this will have probally been to altea with us at one time or another over the 15/16 years we went to villa joyosa) The town is also known for silk making and clothes making so i'm having a dress made from scratch, which will take about 1/2days, only £30 which is half I would pay at home and has the benefit that no one else will have it! I'm so excited for it to be finished.
