Hi folks, Thought I would send you a few lines from New Zealand, to let you know what a great time I'm having over here. Started off in Auckland, then travelled on to Rotorua, and Taupo. Drove along the edge of Lake Taupo, then headed off to Napier & Hastings, where I caught up with Bernard & Joan. Time was passing me by, so I left Hastings at 10pm and made it to Wellington in time for the ferry at 3am. Crossed over to Picton, and arrived there around 6:20am. (Was going to have breakfast on the ferry, but fell asleep !) The drive from Nelson to Westport was superb, following the Buller River, through Buller Gorge. Also, another great route was from Greymouth to Christchurch, as I travelled through Arthur's Pass. This had some fantastic scenery too. I am now at Christchurch, with only a couple of days left before I fly to Hong Kong, so just trying to have a quick look around. I am also hoping to meet up with a few people, including Darren & Vic who me met in Thailand when we started our adventure.......
