I have made it to Iguacu and it is indeed a sight to see! Attached, one of my pictures of the falls taken from the helicopter yesterday. It was a fantastic trip, really spectacular to see the falls from the air and I have decided helicopters are the way to travel!

After that we spent a couple of hours viewing the falls from the Brazilian side where you get more of a panoramic view which was great to see. Today we crossed the border to Argentina for the day to see the falls from the other side where you can get closer to the falls from the various viewing panels. It rained all morning but that didn't really spoil things as you get rather damp at the falls in any event. This afternoon I took a trip on a powerboat ride which takes you right under the waterfall just to make sure you have had the full experience! I got soaked of course but really good fun and helps you appreciate the force of the water.

Definitely a highlight of my trip so far!

Tomorrow I fly to São Paulo but then drive straight to the beach at Paraty! It's a tough old life!
