Well this is going to be our last blog! We arrived in singapore yesterday morning on the train, and after we eveentually cleared immigration and sniffer dogs searched the train we were allowed in! Our hostel is close to the station so we wandered along a road with a sketched map i tried to copy from the internet the night before! We found the apartment block, its just like someones apartment but full of travellers in dorms! Anyway it was 8.30am but we were told check in wasnt till two, so we headed off to explore! We found a tube station and headed towards Sentosa Island! It was scorching hot when we arrived and we jumped on a tram and headed to underwater world! We saw some fish and giant turtles, the fish were just like the ones we saw when we were snorkeling, so we took lots of photos so you can see what we saw! We wandered round a huge aquarium tunnel with sharks etc and then headed out to the beach! It was way too hot to stay on the beach and we didnt have our swimming stuff so we had a quick paddle and headed to a sky ride (like a giant ski-lift!) When we got off at the top we climbed on a tabogan like tray called a luge and headed back down the hill! It was awesome! After that we headed to dolphin lagoon and watched a fantastic dolphin show! We were tired and very sweaty so we headed back to the hostel and eventually managed to get in the shower! There was a bit of a que! We were ready again and headed out to find the night safari! We thought it would be closer, but after 3 trains and a very long bus we arrived! We got on another tram around the safari and saw girraffes, elephants, white rhino, lots of deer, leopards, hyeenas, tigers, lions and bushbabies! We lost track of time and before we knew it it was 11pm and we still had top get home! We ran for the last bus and waited patiently for the whole journey as we stopped at stops where no one clearly wanted to get on or off! 45mins later we got to the station and run to get a ticket, we were informed the line was closing and we could only go 3 stops instead of the 18 we needed! We figured at least it would make the taxi cheaper! As we got off the train trying to work out what to do we spotted a bus that went kinda near where we were staying so we ran for that too and jumped on just as the doors were closing! It dropped us about 15mins walk from our place so we were very pleased! We clambered into bed just after one and slept straight through till 8 this morning! We were up again and off on yet more adventures! We rummaged around trying to stay quiet whilst we packed so as not to wake the others! Not very easy! We headed back out by 9 back to the station and to Little India! Just as you could imagine, it had some very bazar smells, alot of punjabi music, gold jewlerry and colourful material! We strolled around and then jumped back on the train to China Town! Very simillar to the china town in KL, lots of stalls with a lot of clutter and fake goods, food vendors and sales people! When we were finished exploring we headed back to sentosa island again for another go on the luges! They were so much fun but caused a few debates about who won! :) The weather was looking abit dodgy and just as we finished the heavens opened! It poured, you've never seen rain like it, we took shelter till it calmed down then headed home! Its almost 5pm now and we fly home at 03.20! So we have to get to the airport really early at like 11.30 as we're going to take the tube and don't want to miss it again! We have had an absolutly amazing trip and as much as we love you all we don't want to come home at all! So thats all, and we'll see you all very very soon! xxxxxx
