Today was an early start! We all got up and had breakfast to be on the bus and ready to leave by 8:30am! We're off to Krakow, Poland! We stopped in Slovakia for lunch! Lunch was provided today so everyone helped set up the table and chairs, cut the salad and then lunch was served!! Slovakians are so stingy ha ha... They kept walking up to the table and looking at all our food! We then hopped back on the bus and 2 hours later finally arrived at krakow! We hopped off and did a little walking tour! Out of this trip the one place I had no expectations for was Poland and it's surprisingly really nice! It's quite small, but the town is really nice! There is a castle in the centre and the town is surrounded by a big wall! Doing the tour is good because Owen, our tour leader is able to give us the history behind certain monuments and features which you'd never be aware of! In the town square there is a church that two brothers built and one side is taller than the other. When they finished it the brother that built the smaller tower killed his brother because the brothers side was taller and better. They also have lots of theories on dragons - you can buy them everywhere!!! We then went back to our room and got dressed before having dinner. Dinner was quite nice. Entree was a traditional soup and main was pork schnitzel with veggies! Exactly what I felt like! We all went out last night - I had a pretty quiet one! Ha ha ha when we got out we all congregated in an area to meet everyone and when Adinma got there a homeless man chased him because he'd never seen someone with dark skin before! (He's African) It was so funny! No one had any idea what was going on. The man just wanted to meet him! Ha ha Simon, Kate and I ended at the casino! Ha ha I never gamble. I just like to be the good little birdie on Simon's shoulder so he doesn't spend too much! :) free day to explore krakow tomorrow! Yay!

Aunty Kath If you take some scenic pictures. Not too cluttered. I'll make you a memory quilt.
