This morning I was awoken at 4am due to the sound of the boats on the river heading off to the floating market - we were due to leave at 6am! We awoke at 7am and packed up our room as we were planning to drive down to Hung's Homestay by the Mekong River in Can Tho. After packing up all of our belongings we wandered down the street to find some breakfast, I'm not accustomed to having a proper meal at breakfast, usually just fruit and yoghurt or toast so I wanted to find somewhere that made 'breakfasty' food. Today started with one of my brothers nagging everyone to get up and get going, mind you, although it was only 6am it was already hot and sunny outside. So my family went to explore while i went back to sleep. They went accross to the park where people were doing tai chi, playing hakki sac and shuttlecock, they then ventured to the fish market which they described as 'smelly' and unbearable. And so this adventure begins... After a lovely last dinner and a teary farewell i set off on my journey, first through customs and onto my plane.
