Well to say that today was a recovery day would be spot on. And to say that koh phangan was the hangover island would also be spot on. Sophie and I, although we didn't drink a whole lot we were still exhausted so we spent the day lazing by the beach drinking fruity fruit shakes and rehydrating.

This morning we enjoyed the luxury of not having to set an alarm. We spent 7.5 hours on a train and 6 hours on a ferry today. The train was a long painful journey, I don't sleep well in a sitting position and even less so with the lights on. Then 30 of us squeezed into a songtaew taxi for a 30 minute drive the pier where we found a very crowded overfill ferry waiting for us.
