Managed to catch a bus at 9.45am and was in Tressco Cafe by 12.15. As you would expect I was recognized but sadly no Bunthorn or Wifi (the whole country is having power cuts - often for 4 hours at a time). I sat down to wait for one or the other. Bunthorn arrived first having realized that I couldn’t message without wifi.

He took me to the hotel - it was lovely. I had never seen it in all my time there as it is set back behind one of the sales areas.

Late afternoon I went to the POE and saw everyone and congratulated Derry who married last year.I even saw the POE director.

We then went around and saw my landlady and the family. Sadly she wasn’t there as her sister has breast cancer and she is away looking after her. I had a lovely evening with them - the baby is no longer a baby!!

On Saturday Bunthorn took me to one of the schools his project supports and I met some of his colleagues. Dinner of pancakes and beer finished the day.

Came back to PP in a van - left very early so that I would miss the real heat of the day. Not too bad only 6 people extra and not in my row!!
