It was brilliant sitting upstairs in the plane. The extra leg room was fantastic but I have never slept so little on one of these flights. We landed at 6am & arrived in Anaheim about 8.45am. Check in time was 3pm so we had some time to kill. We went to the hotel but no one had checked out yet. We had to keep ourselves awake so we went & had something to eat then went to a couple of shopping centres. We went back at 1.30pm & were able to check in. It was so nice to have a shower. It was really hard to keep our eyes open so we went to downtown Anaheim to Centre Street Promenade which is an area of boutique specialty shops, pubs/bars & eateries. There weren't many people around which was a shame.
We dropped the car back at the hotel & walked up to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. It was only 5.45pm but we were really struggling to stay awake. It is now 8pm & we are ready to sleep. We are going to Disneyland tomorrow!
