Hi All and Happy 2009! We have now been back in Cape Town for about 5 weeks! We made it safe and sound - no problems, no illness, no hassles. Only 1 flat tyre, 1 speeding fine and 1 standard, run-of-the-mill fender bender. Many challenges, but these are there for a reason. We have been so incredibly privileged to have been able to do this…

Ousus Pudding en die Hilux laat my terugdink aan die Titanic & die Scimitar - miskien is dit in die gene! As julle ooit weer so iets beplan en uit die kaap uit vertrek, en daar is plek vir 'n passasier, kan ek asb my naam op die lys sit? Ek is seker die kleinbaas sal die grootbaas se arm kan afdraai vir verlof..... Ons sien julle een van die dae, ek kan nie wag om alles eerstehands te hoor nie! Geniet die kuier by die 3.5 De Beers as die laaste stop voor julle by die huis is. Veilig ry en drink net gebottelde water! Baie liefde, Ousus xxx

Sadie Shepherd Hey its the Hilux passanger here, Sadie. I can not tell you how grateful i am for all the towing help and the recommendation on reading! We bought a new battery at the first big town and throughout the rest of our trip we had to disconnect the positive connection each night!!! Ah the wonders of trucks!!! I have now made it home safe to England however the temperater it currently below 5 degrees below Zero so i am wishing and hoping to be back in the sun! Please keep in touch and good luck with the rest of your journey ( oh and i'll make sure Gerrit gets your email so you can look forward to the case of wine over christmas!) Karma's great!!!

die mama Buffalows, zebras, elephants,lion, for seconds I was really worried!!! Welkom terug, in Afrika, So near!!! Yet So Far!!!!. Pudding lyk ongelooflik!! Many tales to be told once you two guys are back home, experts in 4 X 4 tracks, experiences that few has had, even backtracks on safari's!!! When will the CD be in the Shops???!! Volgens die fotos lyk dit of die kampery heel gesellig is, heeltemal gekonfyt in die taak!! Hout op die dakrak en al!! Dankbaar julle is veilig, geniet dit wat jul doen, geniet vir pudding, voorspoed vir al die potholes en challenges !! johan botha Hi julle, dit is absoluut amazing, ek is ongelooflik jaloers op julle trip, dit lyk awasome, for years to come sal julle hierna terugkyk en dink hoe bevoorreg julle was. Hier gaan dit baie goed, familie praat oor julle trip en ons volg fotos, videos en chats.
