We have just spent 2 nights in Coffs Harbour, a small holiday town. Not loooads to do here apart from surf, however due to still being aching and bruised from lesson 1 I decided to stick with the safety of my book. There were two main beaches, one for surfing and one for swimming but we spent the day on the swimming beach. We spent two nights in Newcastle. Not much to say about Newcastle apart from it was gloriously warm and there was a rather nice beach there. That's pretty much all we saw, as we took an earlier bus to what we originally planned in order to reach Port Macquarie at a reasonable hour. We did not arrive in Sydney until late evening on the 21st March, so there wasn't much to do apart from go for an explore on the main street and have the obligatory daily hot chocolate.
