Hello Everyone. We're keeping you up to date pretty regularly at the momemt... I'm sure that this won't last but we'll certainly try our best. We've ended up in an old French colonial town of Dalat in the central Vietnames Highlands for the past couple of nights. This is completely different from our past destinations. This has a much more continental feel to it and a much cooler climate which is a bit of a relief. Had to endure a five hour mini bus journey crammed full of sweaty travellers, up un tarmaced mountainous roads to get here. But we did and we found a nice little hotel with free internet, hence the regular update!! Spent today with a couple of 'easy riders' - these are guys who took us around Dalat on the back of their mototrbikes. They spoke excellent English and informed us lots about Vietnam and its culture and history. They also took us round the local sights such as Temples, Lakes etc. It was an excellent experience and a great way of seeing the area. The countryside round here is amazing. Very lush with terraced farmland cut out of the hillside. We aren't staying here for long, though. We're off tomorrow on another five hour bus journey to then catch an overnight train for twelve hours further north a place called Hoi An. Will then download some more photos to keep you all intersted as I'm sure you are!!
