Hello again, guess what free internet access!... and at it beats talking to Ruth!!! Not really, we're getting on very well and are mid way up Vietnam on our journey North. It's taken a while to get to Hue but it has been an adventure. Stopped at a place called Hoi An before here which took 24 hours to get to (bus, and sleeper train) but was worth it. It's a world heritage site, but even better it's famous for its tailoring and we managed to make the most of it! I had seven shirts made for 50 quid and Ruth a couple of pairs of trousers. So we're sorted for work gear on our return ( although they'll probably fall apart)!! Mum its being posted to you - but shouldn't be there for 4 months as it's going by sea-mail. We'll pick it up in August!! Food also excellent in Hoi An but our room was a bit dodgy, but you get what you pay for and three quid doesn't get you much in some places!Left Hoi An this morning and got a bus to this place Hue. Only here for one night so got a better hotel (about 7 quid) and have just completed a whirlwind tour of the city on a cyclo. Ruth managed to have agood argument with the driver about the price- but she lost!An 8 hour journey north tomorrow for abit more peace and tranquility. We're running out of time here but still got loads to do. Hopefully be in Hanoi by Friday when should beable to update phots etc. Keep up the messages, they're brilliant to read. Love to all.
