The walk to Warsaw train station was horrendous, having not slept and spent the whole night in a dub club. We went straight to sleep on the train, waking up to find we were meant to have changed trains and were stranded in Sawulki with the next train not till the same time the next day. For those of you who don't know which I presume is everyone, Sawulki is a small town around 50km from the Poland-Lithuanian border. With little to loose we set off to see what was good in this town we had ended up in. Nothing was the answer as it is a concrete jungle with an abundance of town blocks and little else. We tried hitching for about three hours with no luck and just as we were about to head back to the station a polish girl asked if we needed help. This girl called Laura got her cousin (Rafat) to give us a lift to a local church so we could ask for accommodation. But as the Father was giving a service Laura's mum very kindly said we could stay in their flat. The whole family turned out to be very hospitable and Rafat got his friend round and we drank polish vodka and munched on some polish food stopping mid flow for a very random night trip in the car to see a church.
