Only managed to spend a few days in the nations capital but managed to fit alot in. This started with alot of beers the evening we got there! In the hours of daylight we had we had a wonder around Wellington and took a trip up the famous cable car giving us great views of the city as well as a nice walk around the parks. Not much else to report here- was quite a nice city but probably not that nice for you guys to read about!!!

Had a whistle stop tour to Lake Taupo but it was very action packed. On our way we stopped off at Wai-O-Tapo Thermal Wonderland to view all the volcanic bubbling mud pools and lakes and saw the Lady Knox Geyser erupt quite spectaculariy... also a opportunity for some comedy pictures! Further into Taupo we visited 'Rock & Ropes' park which had various adrenaline filled activities on offer. I climbed a 40 foot beem and stood on it with very little room...

Had a stop over at Waitomo to gove Balck Water Rafting- aka Cave Tubing. I proceeded to work by way around a pitch black cave, underwater and 100 meters below ground level which was great fun. To add to the excitement, the cave was full of glow worms on the cave ceilings which surprisingly, glowed!! Stopped off in Rotorua to do a spot of White Water Rafting which was amazing fun! We proceeded to battle our way through the currents and got thrown down rapids with amusing consequences.The ride also involved us going down the largest comercial rafting waterfall in the world- 20 feet.... check the pictures out for the amusing results of when we went down!!

Arrival in Auckland saw me in my 3rd country of the trip. Met up with Kerry and Susise (from Melbourne) and the four of us will be travelling New Zealand together.
