I was lying in bed wondering what time it was and there was a knock on the door. It was dutch, he said it was 4.20 and the old chook had not woken us up. I hated the south. I didnt really see a lot cos I was travelling hard to get to the north. Vientiane didnt impress me with a lot to see, half the places were closed cos it was a holiday. Most of the problem was the time of year. Being a holiday and that stupid throwing water. For 4 days it was hell. Well Im here. The trip took longer that I thought. 194km and it took 5 hours. It is up in the mountains and the roads are not the best. They are really a collection of pot holes with is little piece of bitumen between them. There were 7 of us in the mini bus so it was pretty comfortable,probably the best bus ride so far.
