So arrived in smelly Rotorua, but I were slightly out of town so it wasn't so bad. Had a brief look around the city and because it was Easter weekend they had a market by the lake and everywhere was nice and busy which was pretty cool. Bigger then I thought it would be. On Easter Monday I took a day trip to Waitomo Caves and went black water rafting - full on!! I did some of the tubing when in Laos but this was so much worse. I had to abseil down a black cave like 35 metres and then we zip lined down into a black abyss, had to jump off a 4 metre ledge into 12 degree water on a tube, also had to climb though some seriousy tight gaps and climb up a waterfall. It was crazy, had a few tea breaks whilst down there which was fun and loads of pictures, saw loads of glow worms, very cool considering they are just maggots that shine! It was a reat trip and well worth the extra money. Again pretty tiring, am looking forward to a rest soon after being so busy and all the early starts. Off to my last stop, Auckland, before heading off to the states. Sad!
