We had spent the night at Camping Madeleine. We've included a few pictures of the campground. When we thought that the morning commute would be "over", we ventured out onto the freeway heading for downtown Montreal. We drove over Pont Victoria, an old drawbridge that passed over some locks that are used for ships moving up the St. Lawrence River towards Lake Ontario. Arriving in the old downtown area, there was road and building construction on about every block....

We ate a leisurely breakfast and made preparation to get "underway". We pulled out of the Grenville Park about 10 a.m. and drove on Highway 2, which parallels the St. Lawrence River. We enjoyed the scenes of the river, the islands, the houses on islands and everything in between! Finally, at Morrisville, I decided that we needed to get moving, so I turned on a road that intersected the Trans-Canada Highway. As we are traveling along at a 100kph clip, I saw a sign...
