Year-long Retirement Odyssey
After breakfast, we packed up the trailer and headed out on the road again. Our goal was to reach Revelstoke, which is our first stop, driving into the Columbia Mountain Range and the Canadian Rockies. The drive took us past lakes and some beautiful scenery through Kelowna and past Lake Kalamalka. One of the most beautiful overlooks from Highway 97 was above the lake, showing the turquoise color of the water. Heading out from there, we ran into some intermittent rain. Sharon was able to snap a picture of a double rainbow.
Before long, we pulled into the Lake Williamson RV Resort at Revelstoke, registered and made it to our camp site. So far, we have been blessed with "pull through" camp sites, so no backing required. But we're bound to get one sooner or later! Those driving lessons will come in handy!

Lynn Grunklee The lake is beautiful. The double rainbow is a double reminder and blessing from God of his promises.
