So what have i been up to the last couple of days you ask? Not a whole lot!
I have been hanging out at my friends house, went to the new bar they are building and drank some beer;
I went on a 27 km mountain bike ride with a few of the local guys (holy crap was i beat!);
Drank some more beer, went to the beach, dranks some more beers;

Went out for dinner, fresh sea food on the beach, drank some wine.

I forgot the siesta...everyday.....that is life in Spain. Rough i know but i will try to live through it for one more day.

Gord So the internet was down for almost two days?! Seems like 4 days ago when you arrived at your destination? Then you seem to have only summarized two days worth of antics - so like is there a tear in the space time continuum at your friends place? Caused by the local vodka? I was actually worried about you and even checked the local news in Cabo De Palos as it had been a while. I took a stroll though the town via google earth street view to see what the place is like. You can tell a lot from the local graffiti and shabby looking tower blocks but that might just add to the rustic charm of the place. I am eager to see your pictures - I am not sure I am ready to drool at sun drenched images particularly as it has been sweltering here somewhat. Back to your blog - it would be interesting to know what beer you've been drinking - san miguel? Maybe even the name of the night club - was it something ridiculous? As a fishing village maybe it was called the "lucky catch" or "the one that got away" - god forbid it was called "bait and lure"... Well it's back to the grind stone soon and no more Siesta's....
