Following an early start for a change we made good headway down route 101, again mostly along the coastline, looking at the sea, trees and eagles. Several hours later we made a pit stop in Port Orford for brunch. Then we drove 80 odd miles through thick sea mist till we hit Eureka. It doesn't get anymore exciting than that. Although we did stop in a redwood foest to check out more trees. Big trees. no bears though. Or elk. Driving done we headed to the local bow...
