Hello Friends and Family, We had a fantastic trip to Hawaii from June 4th to June 15th. The first week, Emi's Mom and Aunt traveled with us in Oahu and Big Island. After splitting, we spent backpacking, snorkeling, visiting all over Kaua'i for 5 days. None of us has ever visited in Hawaii, and it made us realized that still paradise exist in USA. Yes, we are back home in Lyons, Colorado, just to remove any confusion on our website. We have been enjoying our own state for the past 2 weeks - a few of our favorite mountain bike rides along with hiking up a few 14'ners (what we call all of the 14,000 ft. peaks hear in CO). We have to ween ourselves slowly from the freedom that we have gotten used to, but reality (and a job) will soon slap us in the face and then we will truly realize that our trip is over. ...

Hey All, We arrived in Cusco, Peru and we are enjoying the atmosphere here as tomorrow, June 24, is Inti Raymi, one of Cusco's biggest festivals. We are looking forward to experiencing some of the ancient traditions, joining in the festivities and then of course we will visit Machu Picchu just before returning to the states next week. Hello all, We arrived in La Paz, Bolivia a couple days ago. La Paz is the highest capital city in the world at 3660m with polulation of 1.5 million. La Paz is the wonderful blend of modern skyscrapers and basic traditional homes made with clay brick. The city is growing rapidly up into the mountains that surround it. Many people, particulary old women, wear tradional clothing including bowlers' hat which don't look like they should stay on their heads. ...
