Arrived into this great modern little town on Thursday and booked into a motor camp which is probably the best we have stayed in so far. Nice big sites, friendly staff and awesome showers with a high flat roof where you can see the sky and trees while showering. Gidday from the land of blue skies. Tuesday was the day we had to face that 9km rough road back out from 80 Mile beach camp so with every thing in its place we slowly drove out. Hi from 80 Mile Beach Camping Ground where we arrived on Friday. The cover picture shows some of the beautiful shells that can be found on this beach and if you compare then to my foot at the bottom of the photo you can tell the size of them. After cruising south from Barn Hill camp we travelled along some very straight roads through mainly very dry scrubby country and open plains where you can see for miles with what the Auzzies call grass on them.
