had a nice day, visiting hightest point in Seoul, the N-Seoul Tower, got the cable car up to the summit, although Owen said he walked it in the summer, which is very impressive. cable car takes you through the wooded hillside of the mountain, unfortunately a bit misty today, so not clear views of Seoul, but could make out river through the mist and city from the top. Spent today visiting central Seoul, Gyeongbokgung Palace and River walk, lots of police around again today for Obama's visit. Great Palace, massive grounds and very peaceful, then went to President Lee residence :-) Then walked back into town and Owen took us to a japanese curry house in back streets of Seoul, Anna was a bit nervous, but Curry was nice, I had a nice veggie one. Just been for a run up Mt Bushak, hard work, left Anna doing the washing :-)

weather today, nice an sunny, but still cold 5c, so wrapped up. Went to a shopping Mall to get Owen some text books and clothes and then a aquarium in the shopping mall, really good but strange. Never seen a fish tank made from a fire extinguisher, phone box, and post box, very bizarre. Koreans seem a trim fit race, lots of walking only obese person we have meet was an American. Finished off the day in a Buddhist temple, nice and calming, pictures posted tomo...

day 2 - rained all day, Owen took us up to Yonsei Uni. where he is studying, suprised how big it was and a mixture of old and modern buildings, was founded 1885. We also visited his student flat, blimley, extremelt clean and tidy but very small Then visited an amazing supermarket, so many cakes, and great food to see, pictures posted
