Last three days have been difficult, it seems really quiet, I walk around town, I rarely see any brits, some Japs and Germans. Bumped into one Brit at a restaurant last night, I entered as he just finished his dinner, chatted for about 20 minutes. Haven't seen a single teenager or youngster / thought it may be cos I have been staying in fairly good accommodation. So in this town, i'm in the cheapest hotels, 100 baht per night (1.40 gbp), has a rock-hard old bed...

Hi boys & girls, am currently in Ayutthaya, although there seems to be 3 different ways to spell the name. For those concerned, am in a hotel called Jitwilai Place. hi, arrived in Pattaya yesterday, got a private taxi from the hotel to the bus station, was a really old Rover, from when Rover's were actually good (60's i think)..anyway was enjoyable. Bus trip took 2 hours and am staying in an apartment with tv, a/c and shower. It's a sunside resort with a Hard Rock Cafe restaurant and hotel, so you can imagine the rest.
