Hi, am currently in Chiang Mai. Changed hotels, am now at a place i kleep forgetting the name of...anyhow.. tomorrow I am going trekking for 2 days in the forests of Thailand to a hill-tribe village. Sleeping under the stars in a sleeping bag! Am already bitten quite alot so lets see how hungry the bugs are in the forest. After I stay two nights in Chiang Mai, went for a walk today to have a look around but accidently took the road out-of-town so just walked around normal streets for hours. Thought this place is not very impressive! On sunday i have a flight to Loas, to a city called Luang Prabang, it is a UN global heritage site and all the books stay it's very pretty etc. I stay there for 3 nights then fly to Bangkok on Wednesday. The following day I have a flight to New Zealand. Will stay at my cousin's (Grant) place in Auckland for a place of days, then head south. Am there for 3 weeks. If anyone has any questions, pls let me know. Chiang Mai is still hot but is quite breezy so is more pleasant. The local are friendlier than other towns. There are more foreigners here, quite a lot of Amercians at my hotel. Lai Thai Guest House is where I am staying tonight and Fri / Sat night.
