Woke at 6am had a shower. We were boarded by Border force at 7.30am to check passports etc. Left just after 8am to set sail for St Petersburg Russia it was 160 miles to travel so will take us all day and night and part of next day . Had to Motor sail a lot as we were heading into the wind, back on shifts. The weather was a lot colder so wrapped up with layers. We were 2pm - 6pm then midnight to 3am. Not do keen on this prefer day sailing and definitely a fair weather sailor! As I lay in my bunk writing this could feel the boat crashing through the waves which was leavating me out of my bunk. Note to self ! Don’t sign up for long passages again.
