Left Hel around 4pm on the 24th and sailed through the night around 110 miles to Klaipeda in Lithuania. Lithuania has one of the fastest growing economies in Europe. The population is 3.43 million 83.5 % are Lithuanians 6.7% poles 6.3 % Russians and the remaining Belarus Ukraine Germany and Latvia, 80% are catholic’s then Russian orthodox evangelical lutherans and Baptist. Arrived at 2pm tidied up the boat and went for a beer. Couldn’t believe how hot it was. Went for a shower then a wander round the town it was only a small town. Went for dinner in the square then back to the boat to bed. Slept so well
