Up at 8.30 across the road from our hotel was the steam boat ride. Boarded at 10am for a trip across the lake and back took an hour and half.
Got in our car and drove To wanaka. A Long winding drive up in the mountains and down again some very steep roads.
Wanaka is famous for the tree that Grows in the lake. Had lunch in alchemy restaurant. Drove back to the hotel then relaxed in room for a while before going out for dinner. Met up with Danielle a friend who had been travelling the same time as Sam. She is from Canada
Had a lovely meal and a good nights sleep
