Up around 8 Helen went for a jog went to breakfast at 9am lovely view of the lake. Went for a walk then checked out and headed up to Rotorua. Stopped at Aratiatia rapids to watch them open the dam for the water to flow through.
Got to the town and Went on a gondola to the top of the town. Helen And Carl went on the luge ride. Basically like a go cart down the steep hill! Had an ice cream then went to our motel ! Had to try at least one motel out in the trip. It was ok everything there but no atmosphere! Went for a walk into the town found an Irish bar Michael and Carl had some Guinness. Then we found eat street full of restaurants and had a nice Thai meal. Back in the motel around 9.15 again very tired !
