Alarm went at 6.30 left hotel at 7.30 for a taxi to the station to go on transalpine ride to greymouth. And wow what amazing views we loved it. New Zealand is so Picturesque. It took 4 hours to get to Greymouth then an hour there for a quick bit of lunch and then back to Christchurch for 7.30 pm. In hindsight what we should’ve done was get the train to Greymouth hired a car and then moved on from there however we had a lovely day got back to the hotel in Christchurch our last night here before we leave early to travel south tomorrow. Had room service in the room and an early night
