Had breakfast then booked our flight from New Zealand to Hawaii couldn’t go to Fiji as it’s raining there and the weather isn’t good. Got taxi to circlar key. It’s Australia Day today. Busy near the opera house watched fighter jets go over and a large Qantas plane. Managed to find a seat in the shade and had drinks and lunch. Walked to the botanic gardens and had a ride on a cho cho train ! Took 20 minutes around the garden. Had an ice lolly and a doze in the park. Very hot 35 degrees walked back near opera house for an iced coffee. Another little walk followed by a beer. It was starting to get busy. Got in a que at 6pm to get on our boat to watch the fireworks. Left at 6.55 and returned at 9.55 it was so good such a great display. Not only fireworks but sailing boat display And jet ski display. A lovely end to our time on Sydney and Australia! Got a taxi back up the hotel and straight to bed
