Had a great nights sleep woke at 7.30 had a Shower. Michael made blueberry pancakes for breakfast with some nice fresh coffee. Carl and Sarah did navigation for next passage to liepaja in Latvia which is about 50 miles. Liepaja is Latvia’s third major port handing mainly grain and timber but also with a shipyard naval base and fishing harbour. Set off around 11am Carl took the boat off the port there was no wind so we Motored. Around 4pm we were radioed by the Latvia coast guard asking us to change our course as we were near a firing range practice. We did so then they radioed back again to tell us to alter it again which we did. There was another German sailing vessel near by and they told them to change their flag as they still had their Lithuania flag up. But we notice them turn round and go back. Had to Motor all the way as no wind but was lovely and calm. I helped Bridget make lunch which was wraps and for dinner baked potatoes with cheese and onions stir fri veg and chicken it was lovely. When we moored up we were right opposite a hotel. Got there at 10.30pm Went in for a couple of beers Followed by a gin or 2! Back to the boat and slept well
