We had planned to go surfing to Palm Beach today with Hollie's flatmate Paul and his friend. Woke up and the weather was really nice which was awesome! We drove down in Paul's car which was a bit of a tight squeeze. It was a nice beach - the one where Home & Away is filmed. It's a really rich area - we stooped in a car park and saw about 6 ferraris all parked practically next to each other! Never seen anything like it!

We chilled on the beach for a bit - only had 2 surfboards so the boys went out first. When I did go out I totally failed at surfing haha, the waves were really strong and dumping practically at the shore! I couldn't even get out, they kept knocking me over and I kept losing the board and getting hit with it haha. Just gave up in the end and sunbathed with Hollie, who had no interest in surfing!

When Paul came out I tried going out surfing with him and got a lot further - followed him and tried diving under some waves but I just didn't have the arm strength to keep going and didn't feel comfortable in the waves so ended up riding back into shore and giving up for good!

After a bit we went looking for some lunch. We ended up stopping at a supermarket and having a picnic on another beach which was pretty nice. Then we headed back into town to Hollie's flat.

We went back and had a few drinks in the flat with Hollie's flatmates and some of their friends, then headed into town and went to an Irish pub for a bit!
