(30September) This was a major travel day! Up and on the bus at around 8, then we headed for the three gorges dam. It was awful weather though, raining pretty heavily and misty. When we got to the car park 5 of us decided (wisely I think!) to stay on the bus and chill out a but while the others ventured up a hill in the rain to see the dam. Major neglect going on here, it's been so busy!! I think I stopped at the Yangtze river so I'll continue from there! (29 September) We got up earlyish to see the first gorge as we passed it! The boat set off early this morning. We got up around 9 to go on deck and have a look at the scenery and the first gorge. It wad nice but still a bit misty and rainy which is a pity! Then we played cards for a bit in the common room place while looking outside. We boarded at a town around 12 and went and had a big (really yummy!) lunch, then kimberly and I went to an Internet cafe and booked our hostel for Hong kong, which will hopefully be nice! fairly cheap but...
