THE NETHERLANDS - DAY 4

Today was a nothing day. We lounged around the apartment. Pasqual watched the coronation of the new Dutch King and the girls played happily in their room. It was so nice not to be rushing from one train to another, or one tour to the next.

Pasqual and Grandad went into the main street to find a coin laundry since the apartment didn't come with a washing machine, while the girls did some school work. They came back extremely frozen.

After lunch I ventured into the shopping area to purchase food for our dinner and our lunch for tomorrow. On the way back I wandered down the mall where everyone was gathered celebrating Queens Day. Everyone sets up a stall and sell whatever they like. It's a bit like a trash and treasure. Everyone wears orange, the royal colour. There was lots of drinking and merriment everywhere.
