We have arrived in Panama city ! Holy hot and humid 27 degrees at 8 pm. We are sitting on our little deck at La Estancia trying to get our room to cool off. So far I do not see any sloths or monkeys in the trees. Our flights were both fine albeit it a very long day. Left Calgary on time at 7 am this morning , 4 hours to Houston , 2 hours layover and then another 4 hour flight to panama city. We are 2 hours ahead of Calgary and so 1 hour behind nova scotia.
The city has more than twice the towers it had 2 years ago, including the Trump tower now. It is quite a happening city, but still quiet up here on Ancon Hill as I can hear the crickets.
We head out early tomorrow morning to catch a half hour flight to Contadora Island .
