Donnas' Middle East Adventures 2010
26th May 2010
We woke up anchored in the port of Nuweiba. We bordered our truck and began our entry to Egypt. It took hours. We then headed to the small coastal resort of Dahab. Dahab is a small town situated on the southeast coast of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. Formerly a Bedouin fishing village, located approximately 80 km northeast of Sharm el-Sheikh, Dahab has some of the worlds best diving spots. A few people went diving, I opted for snorkelling in the Red Sea. It was spectacular. We stayed at 7th Heaven and I shared with Katie. We walked around the shops and met up with the rest of the group at Al Capone Restuarant. I shared a fish platter with Marie, it was enormous and delicious. You could select your own fish and they cooked it up for you. After tea we had a Hens night for Tanya, hit the local pubs and got home around 2am.
27th May 2010 Another relaxing day at Dahab. We had breakfast at Same Same restaurant. Snorkelled again in the Red Sea. Had massages and our nails painted. Shopped and had tea at Yalla. Another hot night.
