Rocinha Favala
Got on the back of a motor bike and went up to the top of the Favala. We were briefed by our guide where to take photos. This tour was an eye opener. Over a third of Brazilians live in Favalas. There were strong odours of rotting waste and inadequate sewerage. We walked down through one of the streets and met some of the locals. Fascinating place. We Then caught a local bus to Copocabana. Wow what a ride, held on tight. Had lunch and went to street market. Tonight we meet the others on our tour then off to see the Gay Ball.
