Felt a bit better this morning so had breakfast with the English couple, packed & checked out (well.......moved our bags out of our room & then b*****ed off to town for the day!) When we finally dumped our laundry somewhere, we went into the Monastery & spent 3 hours walking around this Citadel within the city. Nuns still live there, but their section of the monastery is blocked off from visitors as they live a life of seclusion. However looking around the insides of this 400 year old masterpiece of architecture, it seems like the nuns did OK with quite spacious living quarters & cooking areas. This was a really interesting afternoon seeing how they used to live, cook & clean with the many implements at their disposal. A late lunch & chat, with tea to follow to kill time while waiting for our laundry & then back to say adios to Alessandro & his hostel & off to the bus station to go to Cusco. We were spoilt in that the bus was a Cama (luxurious) bus, with a small meal & bingo. The American film, dubbed into French with Spanish subtitles really didn't entertain, so to sleep it was.
