Arrive 10.30am Took a taxi to Fontecruz Sevilla Autograph hotel. Not sure how the taxi fitted down the little winding streets but he managed by doing three point turns. Nice room in hotel, plenty of room and good sized bathroom. Our room looked on to the little street where people walked past all the time. Sevilla is a very ancient city with lots of history including being occupied by the Romans and Moors. We decided to do Hop On Hop Off tour because it went for two days and included free walking tours. We went on the walking tour of Triana an area on the other side of the river where the gypsies live and work and prefer to stay. Triana is where the flamenco originally started and was not originally embraced by those on the other side of the river who were more conservative.
