Hi Jane, Great to see your site and all the photos, sounds like you're having a fab time-not like us here! Had a wonderful holiday in Oz catching up with no.2 son,would love to go back. Robin only has 10 more weeks to go before coming home via Fiji and Bankok can't believe it's all going so quickly. Keep up the work on the site, it really brightens the day to dip in and see your pics and what you're doing.

Hello again - having a Sunday afternoon beer and checking to see if anything has changed - no news is good news, eh? Or, are we just nosey and looking to see who else is leaving messages for you? It is wet and horrid today in Winchester. Went to see 'Chicago' at the Mayflower Friday - wonderful! Yesterday, it was quite sunny and we went shopping down Shirley High Street, for a change. Had a cooked breakfast at Poppy's - still very good value. Then we called round to look at Jane's old house - it has been renovated, with double glazing, new front door and painted white - it has been sold now. Bob reckons the white paint will peel off within 5 years (that's builder experience for you!).
We called to see if Linda was in, but there was no-one in - left a little message in the door. Then we called to see Ann and Roy at Dibden Purlieu. Hope all is well in Thailand.

Hello again - back in Winchester - weather is getting chilly, wishing we were with you on that beach! Had a good chat with Linda on Sunday, after your phone call Jane. She seems okay, and was pleased to have spoken to you. Got your postcard today - thanks for that! Jock has just been in with news of his trip to Scotland, where the weather was very bad. He got back yesterday.

Pa has gone to sample some real ale with Mark, after drinking that lager stuff in Tenerife, so won't see him till tomorrow. Just heard that our neighbours are moving out tomorrow, and we have 3 nurses moving in. We do get variety these days. Ta ta for now. Love you.

Jen gave me your website and hotmail address, so hopefully you will have been getting my group e-mails from Oz! I am in Sydney now until Jan next year and should be getting a flat in Bondi Beach, so when you land in Oz give us a shout! Your pictures look like you have been having a good time, fair play to you both! Anyway enjoy Thailand and from a fellow traveller keep having fun and seeing the world beyond Southampton! we like doing this, it is well good. We are going home tomorrow night, but thought we would share today with you. Went out on a Catamaran looking for whales (not the welsh type), and dolphinos off the coast of Tenerife and La Gomera. It was really good, we saw a couple of small pods of Pilot Whales and they were curious about us and swam round the cat. Drinks were plentiful and included, so we had lots with 4 lads from Liverpool (so funny) and a couple of Geordies we met in our hotel. After much lager, and much food, we were encouraged to swim off the back of the cat. Bob went in, of course, and is very red. I did go in to just get wet but clung on to the ladder, did not feel confident as I was well squiffy. So, just to let you know you are being thought of and we are going to keep in touch. Got a bit worried on the cat when the skipper put on automatic pilot and returned from the bar with a beer. The photographer could have been Lennie Henry´s brother, so funny. Got a nice photo as a keepsake.
Ta ta and keep smiling. Saw a lovely camper called Bronze Age, here in Puerto a lovely thing. We may sell the house and go travelling.

We are emailing you from the Internacional Hotel, Tenerife on a very foreign keyboard, so sorry for any mistakes. Been exploring Puerto de la Cruz, the Capital City Santa Cruz, by bus. Went to Loro Park today and caught the Dolphin Show, they were absolutely wonderful. Cannot get used to the black sand on the beaches here. We have not changed the climate yet, but it did rain earlier tonight a bit! The food in the Hotel is okay, nothing spectacular, we like the local beer though, so that makes up for it although it is lager. Yuck. We are going out on a VIP Catamaran on a Dolphin search on Thursday. Tuesday will be an Island sight seeing day, want to have a closer look at Mount Teide, the extinct volcano we think, rumour has it that she has been rumbling lately.

Oh yes, we went to the Bus Station of the Gua Guas to buy a BONO and the bus Company is called t***A. To sum it up (Estacion de los Gua Guas with a Bono to catch a t***A to travel).

Glad to know that you found Bottle Beach and that you are having a wonderful time there. Will pass on the info to Linda when we get home.

It is up in the 90s here, so we can appreciate the humidity that you are experiencing. Not a lot of sun here, low cloud and hot. Lots of traffic, scooters everywhere.
