Dear Damo and Jane - you are so lucky being in OZ in the heat. It is totally freezing here in Winchester. Thank you for Bobby's birthday card, which arrived only one day late, along with three others - so that was good timing. I am cat sitting for 3 weeks for Christine, who is steaming in South Africa. When she comes back we go off on our tour of UK (sort of). Margie has just returned from New Zealand, and had a wonderful time. She loved Aukland and went to Rotarua. She says that our cousin Richard is not interested in the family at all, so he was not worth a visit.
See you are up at the Whitsundays, and have heard that they are beautiful. Enjoy every minute. Thinking of you, as always.

Hello you folks downunder - how is it going? Auntie Margie has been asking exactly where you are at the moment. I mentioned the Blue Mountains and she agreed they are beautiful and she has been there many times. She says that she thought you would have been heading to the snowfields of Queensland, as there will be lots of work up there? I must be getting mixed up, as I thought the snow was in NSW, and that was where you were hoping to work in the snow? Bob tried to ring Linda today, but did not find her at home. Just off to Christine's or a cat sitting lesson, I am looking after the lovely Pamps for 3 weeks while Christine goes home to South Africa. When she comes back in March, Bob and I are going up to see G&G and the family, plus various other people. Thinking of you lots. Lots of love M&P xxx

Glad to see you are having a FAB time. Mucho liko the kitty piccies in Thailand. V cute and not as fluffy as english cats of course. We saw similar ones in Malaysia and even rescued one from drowning out of the hotel drains during a BIG rain shower!. Hope things are cool over there. Had a visit from my neice Katharine today and held her for a while. She's veeeeery cute and cuddly (and heavy) her Birth weight was 10lb 3oz BIIIG.
Okay got to go now as dinner is nearly ready (Beef Stew!)

Hey up tis us again, just taken Abz's back to uni, Adam went about two weeks ago so the house seem empty again. Only me and Carol here now, nowt much to talk about cos I don't like football, but she keeps feeding me and washing my clothers so that's ok. Every body is fine up here, Chris has changed his car to a vecta estate. We have booked the holiday for this year and you've guessed were off cruising again the med this time. It' now ended up that 7 of use are going should be fun. Hope you are both well. Bye for now.

Just looked at the pictures - wow, you are having a wonderful time! Those blue mountains, aren't they something? Lovely to talk to you yesterday - sorry I missed your text on Sunday, am getting the hang of it though. Just passed on the old computer to the Jock man, so it will be living in London from now on. We have not had any snow yet, but it has been a bit nippy. We are off to London Sunday and will try to meet up with Jacko and Co. Still working for a living, which is a shame. Will keep in touch.
