And I didn't think I'd have anything to report today.....

There was almost nothing except a six hour drive between San Francisco and Hollywood. The rolling green hills, the miles and miles of orchards, many with the smell of orange blossoms was sensational, As we approached LA the landscape became rocky, and the State Forest only had bushes with a few trees.

I was some what amused when we passed the dairy yards where the scent of, dairy yards, was overwhelming, I would have thought a second year plumbers assistant would have been somewhat immune to the aromas, apparently not...... I enjoyed the performance so much by keeping the windows down, How I enjoyed that part of the drive. What was even more cheering was when there was no advanced warning, only acres and acres of farmland, and they had fertilised...... to relive those extended moments again..... bliss.......

That drive was the last of the long drives. Over 1500 miles we covered, I was serenaded for at least 500 of those, I may need a hearing aid in my right ear as some of those notes may have shattered crystal, I will know as soon as blood stops seeping from said ear.......

We reached Hollywood and passed the Hollywood Bowl. Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks playing, it took us half an hour to travel a mile and a half. We arrived at the hotel/motel, I think some rooms are rented by the hour, but its a good location, on Sunset Blvd, Hollywood Blvd next street. Feel safe though cause there are so many police around. Cool thing was we drove round the corner and the cops had someone handcuffed up against the building........ We walked the stars, I knew many, youngen, not so many......

So much for Kat D, LA Ink, after getting the address, ends up she just round the corner. Youngen wanted to do a drive-by photo, but no, I found a park and we walked not to far to premises. Photos of outside taken, suggested we go in..... Na, not having a bar of it, said we might not get another chance, must'a got stage fright cause we didn't go in........
