My last day in Varadero. Got my french toasts for breakfast again and received a phonecall from Alexis! Agreed to meet up with him in Havana... Got my bus and met a british (indian) man who came to Cuba just for the women. He had a sort of midlifecrisis. He was really amusing and I enjoyed talking with hime on the bus. The hotel was nice! I got some TV in english that I miss so much! Strolled the streets when I arrived and realised that Varadero was huge! I nearly made it back to my hotel when the rain started to pour down! The roads were floded and all the quality russian cars stopped! I was so hungry but couldn't walk anywhere. Found me a taxi and he drove my to this really cosy restaurant in a garden-kind-of-park. On my way back (when the rain had stopped) I was bypassed...

I survived this crazy taxiride from Cienfuegos to Santa Clara! Headed straight for the Che Guevara monument and got all my pics...Bussloads of tourist came while I was there and I had to wait to get some photos without millions of people on them... The Casa particulare that I had of course picked out of the LP did not have any available rooms but my personal jintero ofcourse found me one. Luckily it was his family!
