After my wee nap headed up top to see Plymouth Hoe and the land disappear.
The excitement of travelling by ship never fails to disappoint especially when the English weather turned on blue skies. I could not resist a FB live moment. Wandering the decks many had set themselves up on deck chairs with their favourite beverage and wet sunning themselves.
Checking out the boat I went to the gift shop and had my photo taken with the queen, nice.
Then went to check out the bar - the queue was around 50 metres long and stretched up the stairs towards the swimming pool, not too bad £4.50. writing my blog watching the blue skies through the window I felt myself starting to unwind.
Then checked out restaurant and the highlight of the day. Watching and listening to the French accent and patter with which the chefs presented the
Options reminded me why I prefer this ferry, excellent service and passionate staff.
No mine the only bike with off Rd tyres, topic of conversation, off riding gear and knobblies = off Rd.
Yes lots of retired or old boys (they can afford to take time off) few young uns that I spoken with, one is doing to Australia later this year.
Lots of brand new 1200GS - I still just don’t get their appeal, marketing I guess. …
